Coach Training Program Accreditation ...
As the field
of coach training has continued to grow, we have learned that no
one school can be all things to all people. As each school flies
its own colors and has its own particular approach – there is a
continued need for additional schools to meet the high demand
for various types of coaching training.
In devising our commitment and
approach, first and foremost our desire was to
develop a strategy that emphasized the utilization of the skills
and mechanisms that we already have in place, leaving you, our
partner to do what you do best – network with people to find
your student candidates.
In today’s world, you have unlimited use of the Internet to
develop your company and recruit students, as well, you may
utilize traditional methods of advertising such as newspaper,
brochures, television, periodicals, etcetera confined only by
what you feel would be your foremost approach in training.
Our Intent:
The vision of the Certified
Coaches Alliance accreditation process is to provide leadership and to promote
excellence in professional preparation though the accreditation
of coaching educational programs that may not precisely fall
within the guidelines of other accreditation bodies expertise
for format.
As an accrediting body, CCA is committed to the development of
standards and procedures that reflect the needs of a dynamic,
diverse and complex society. The CCA is dedicated to encouraging
and promoting the continuing development and improvement of
preparation coaching educational programs.
Our present format is to provide a
thoughtful and respectful process of accreditation for programs
that may be of a spiritual nature or that are provided through
live venues, however, are unable to receive accreditation for
the development of a pre-recorded nature and therefore more
appropriate for distant learning venues.
Program accreditation is limited
to programs that meet specific strategic accountability.
Programs that hold a proven track record of interest to a wide
variety of individuals and countries and/or already hold
accreditation in another format by another accreditation body in
a different format are considered of greatest interest.
